EnQS is an independent development, testing and consulting partner for connected energy management and IoT systems. We support manufacturers and solution providers from software development and device integration to interoperability and end-to-end testing. Our work combines software engineering with energy devices, communication technologies and intelligent metering systems. In the EnQS Testlab, we develop and validate software and complete system solutions hands-on with real devices in a manufacturer-independent environment.

An open protocol stack is only as trustworthy as the evidence behind it. A lab with real assets is exactly the kind of resource an open-source project normally cannot afford, and it is where interoperability claims can be checked rather than asserted.
